The Sim Golfer

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. Here's which ones, what they pay, and how we stop that from changing what we recommend.

The plain version

Say you click a retailer link on a review, a best-of list or a cost page, then buy something. The retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.

Within one retailer, the commission is the same whichever product you buy. And it never changes the order of our lists.

The programs

We belong to, or have applied to, the programs below. If a program hasn't approved the site yet, the link goes straight to the retailer and earns us nothing.

Amazon links are part of the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

Advertising

There are no display ads on the site at launch. Later, light advertising will show only on the room, how-to and software guides.

You won't see ads on reviews, best-of lists, head-to-heads or the cost pages. An ad next to a buying decision is a conflict we'd rather not have.

The rules we stick to

  • We rank products before we look at commissions. The how we review page explains how.
  • Every affiliate link is marked as sponsored in the page code. Every buying page has a one-line disclosure at the top.
  • We don't take money for placement, reviews or mentions.
  • If a retailer stops paying us, its links stay as long as it's still the right place to buy.
