The Sim Golfer

About The Sim Golfer

One golfer, one room and a tape measure. Plus too many winters spent reading shop pages that say every launch monitor fits every room.

Why this site exists

Buying a home simulator comes down to three questions. Will it fit? Which launch monitor? What will the whole thing cost?

Right now the answers are scattered. Shop pages sell everything. Forum threads argue for forty posts. Review sites copy the spec sheets.

We wanted one place that answers the room question first. It adds up the full cost, not just the sticker price. And it tells you plainly who each product suits and what to buy instead.

Who writes it

One golfer with a mid handicap. They measure rooms with a tape and hit balls in a home bay all winter. The how we review page shows how each review comes together.

What the site covers

Launch monitors and simulator packages. The room they go in. The screens, mats and projectors around them. The software that runs them, and what all of it costs. Start with the home golf simulator guide if you want the big picture.

What we skip: golf carts, clubs, swing tips, course reviews and golf news. Plenty of sites do those well. Sticking to one thing keeps our numbers current.

How it makes money

Affiliate links on the buying pages. Later, light advertising on the room and how-to guides. The disclosure page lists the programs.

The short version: if you buy through a link, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing. And it doesn't change the order of our picks.
